National Hospital Week kicks off Sunday, May 10, 2020.
EcoDigital Media encourages you to take the time to celebrate National Hospital Week, May 10 -May 16, and honor all the hospitals, health care systems, and people involved in keeping our communities safe. This week not only gives us a chance to recognize health care successes, but also allows us the opportunity to educate the public on technological advancements in the health care industry.
This year the American Hospital Association has outlined several ways in which we can all celebrate our healthcare heroes, one day at a time. Their suggestions include:
Sunday: Kick-off the week of celebrations by thanking hospitals with specials or discounts designed just for them.
Monday: Send a meal! Provide a meal to a local healthcare hero.
Tuesday: Show your dance moves! This day will highlight ways in which music can be used as medicine.
Wednesday: Get social! Share a positive message on your social channels and tag your local hospitals.
Thursday: Share your thanks! Take pictures of a note or chalk art that you have created thanking our healthcare heroes.
Friday: Face mask mania! Take a photo in your face mask and join the #100MillionMasks Challenge on social media.
Saturday: Share the Love. Give thanks to our healthcare heroes and help provide needed resources by following the #ProtectTheHereos hashtag on social media.
